Central Square South, a landmark office building in the heart of Newcastle city centre, is set for a comprehensive refurbishment following the recent acquisition by Martley Capital. A contractor has now been appointed to carry out the works, which are expected to be completed by March 2027.
Built in 2001 and rated BREEAM ‘Excellent’, the building sits close to the Stephenson Quarter and Newcastle Central Station. Occupiers include PwC, HSBC, Sanderson Weatherall, Lumo, Oak Engage and DWF.
The refurbishment will focus on improving every part of the tenant experience:

Fully Refurbished Suites: All remaining suites, ranging from 2,790 to 4,790 sq ft, will be comprehensively refurbished and upgraded with new all-electric air conditioning.
Ready to Move In: Suites will be delivered fully fitted to a high specification and ready for immediate occupation.
End-of-Journey Facilities: Brand new cycle storage, showers and lockers will be provided.
