Michael Downey is an experienced office agent in the North East of England, acting on behalf of national and international clients in both landlord and occupier representation roles. Michael is a chartered surveyor and has previously headed up the North East office agency division at Lambert Smith Hampton and Sanderson Weatherall, and is now founder of Parker Knights.

Michael leads Parker Knights’ Office Agency team with a particular emphasis on new build and newly refurbished schemes across the North East.of England.
Michael acts for Aberdeen Standard Investments, APAM, Schroders, Adapt Real Estate, The Hanro Group, Pears Group, Maya Capital, and Praxis.

- Portland House, Newcastle, 60,000 sq ft Grade A office scheme full let within 1 year following practical completion.
- APAM in relation to 1 Citygate, Newcastle, 20,000 sq ft refurbishment scheme in Newcastle City Centre fully let within 6 months following practical completion.
- Cable Properties & Investments in relation to an acquisition, lease surrender and new letting of the former TSB Bank, Sunderland which extended to 30,000 sq ft.
